Aliens started this virus, no China did. Wait, maybe it came from an animal, yeah that’s it, it came from a bat. Scientists in S. Korea started it and were going to launch a missile at the United States, but at the last minute they started with China. Russians, they had to have something to do with it! It was the democrats, no wait it was Bill Gates, no that is wrong too. It was President Trump’s failure as he eliminated some team last year. No, no, no, it was former President Obama teaming up with the Clinton’s to gain back the White House.  The republicans failed to do anything and this virus is just one more thing they have messed up! This is how the Muslim faith takes over, “they” (whoever they might be) planted this virus, makes sense, after all now many Americans are getting used to seeing everyone covering their faces.

The borders are still open, no real good wall and that is how we are all getting sick! Nancy Pelosi, Bill Gates and a team of pharmaceutical CEO’s have come together to purge the weak and start the planning for  world wide chips to be implanted to track each citizen and their health. The Pope and other world leaders are meeting to finalize the plans on one world government, one world religion and eliminate all currency and take money to an all digital platform. 5 G technology, military and other secret agencies have come together and have caused this virus to distract us all from the evil 5 G technology and the taking over of something. Area 51 and Skinwalker ranch have everything to do with this virus and the uptick in UFO sightings: that is why there are new specials on tv about both of these; surely this is what is causing all of the problems.

Its all a hoax and government cover up. No one is really sick, no one is really dying. This is just the way that we will all fall to total control by the government. They will keep us in quarantine, tell us what, where and how to do or where to go and eventually we will just give in. Again, its one world leaders setting up the stage to take over the planet.

The polar caps are melting, the oceans are rising and we are seeing an uptick in earthquakes and many other natural disasters such as forest fires and the rare tornado warning in Hawaii. The most current full moon almost always seems to be touted as bigger than before, solar storms / flares are on the rise and a potentially dangerous asteroid is to fly by the earth in 19 days. 2019 saw some very intense hurricanes, huge floods in the world, Italy seems to be underwater still more than ever before. 2019 in the United States also saw a lack of drought (which is an weather oddity), Southeast Alaska was actually in a drought and parts of Alaska hit far above 70 degrees and they were / still are experiencing a lot of melting permafrost. Don’t forget the huge hail falling from the skies, intense thunderstorms and powerful tornado’s already seen in 2020.

What is happening? Who is at fault? I am betting that it was Miss Scarlet, Colonel Mustard and Professor Plum all meeting in the Study for afternoon high tea along with their weapons :candlestick, rope and knife, spread out on the table next to them. While drinking their tea and eating their biscuits they have been plotting out what devious thing to do next.

Listen, I realize 100% that what is happening not just in our country, but world wide is serious business. So please don’t take my last paragraph as being irreverent, in jest perhaps as we all need to smile a bit. I personally know people that have been affected by covid-19. I know families that currently are battling and some that have lost the battle. Its indeed very real, very much here and very contagious. Yet there are many people not taking it serious. Many more are spinning their stories, view points and theories of why, what and where it is.

What bothers me the most about this moment in time is the amount of “Christians” that  are falling into these stories, these theories and into fear. Worse yet, we have “Christian” leadership that are directly defying those in authority that are doing their best to help keep the population safe or at least cutting the risk down in contracting this virus.  Before I go any further, you may be wondering why I have the word Christian in parenthesis. Well, I am not convinced that these are all true followers of Christ. Many are choosing actions that are unbiblical. Many are choosing to spread lies, misinformation and gossip. These are not traits of a “Christian” to me. I am far from perfect and make my share of mistakes, but I will tell you this – I am submitting to authority when asked in a manner that seems and feels correct. I am not spreading gossip about the government nor people that are serving. I am not spreading lies about in my community to cover up my own mistakes. I am not spreading / causing fear or confusion among my Christian family.

I am trying to do my best in following what I believe to be correct. That simply is the bible. At the very beginning I begin listing all of the things I have heard or read in the last couple of weeks about this virus and the conspiracy theories. I didn’t list them all, the list would be too long! But what I do know is this: I have many people that I consider friends / acquaintances that call themselves “Christians” that are leaders, volunteers and attenders that are getting caught up in the media hell storm of gossip and false information.  This simply breaks my heart!

I do not have my head buried in the sand. I know that this pandemic is real. I know that there are greedy, evil, narcissists that want to bring us all down in one way or another. But I do not believe that every politician is evil. I do not believe that every billionaire is trying to take over the world and I do not need the media nor my friends constantly sharing the number of covid-19 cases and deaths.  Or sharing the videos of the “world is ending, Jesus is coming back and more. Why? Because I am choosing to not live in a depressed state of mind nor misery and I am living in the love and TRUTH of the Word!

Let’s face it- we ALL know that this virus is here and sadly many of us will be affected by it one way or another. Why do we / you need to know the exact count every day? Are you waiting to claim your number? HARSH, I know. But as this blog is really meant to address my fellow followers of Christ – is this was Jesus wants from us? To live in fear? To live in doubt? As for the sharing of videos on end times and how its all going to happen – stop it! When someone tells you they know when Jesus is coming back, you can tell them absolutely that’s not possible. Why?  Matthew 24:36 (NLT) tells us: “However, no one knows the day or hour when these things will happen, not even the angels in heaven or the Son himself.[a] Only the Father knows.” Are there scriptures / predictors that lead us towards events that may happen before He returns? Yes. But again, “only the Father knows” when this return will happen. Many of the false teachers / prophets in these videos are very close in stating when God is to come. – Do not entertain these men and their thoughts – Flee the devil!

Let me take out my crystal ball – kidding! But, let me make a few predictions that I believe we are going to need to be aware of. We will see the following happen over the next few months (already happening) to a year:

• Pyramid type scheme businesses will rise out of the ashes and be recreated to provide false sense of stability and wealth. Taking advantage of the millions unemployed.
• False teaching / false prophets will take center stage. These men and women will be sharing what sounds like solid biblical information, but unless you are actually looking up what they are saying in the bible – you will fall to their evil schemes.
• Surge in church attendances for all religions. People are fearful, have many questions, are hurting and sad. Will our churches be able to provide a place of refuge with truth, prayer and love and help guide them?

Now, I don’t claim to have many answers.  Do I believe in parts of some of the theories that are being spun, perhaps. But I also know that the reality is this: unless you are personally on the inside of something and know things firsthand – you know very little. We all know what the government wants us to know. We all know what the media wants us to know. We don’t have accurate easy ways to fact check a lot of things. BUT, as Christians,  we can fact check our pastors and leadership. We can even use our bible to fact check any religious teacher to know if we are hearing TRUTH or confusion.

Speaking of TRUTH and confusion. Seems like this would be simple to follow, but again, we can get our heads full of junk media and false teachers.

Let’s talk about confusion first. Who is the author of confusion? Scripture tells us that satan is. 1 Corinthians 14:33 tells us “For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints”  1 Peter 5:8 Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour. 2 Corinthians 4:4 In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them. And how about back to the very beginning – Genesis 3:1 Now the serpent was more crafty than any of the wild animals the Lord God had made. He said to the woman, “Did God really say, ‘You must not eat from any tree in the garden’?”   I am asking, begging and even pleading – stop giving into / following the author of confusion – there is no life there. All that is there is misery, depression, loneliness and darkness. No hope, just fear, sadness and trembling and eventually death and hell.

Who is the author of TRUTH? 2 Timothy 3:14-17 (The Message) “But don’t let it faze you. Stick with what you learned and believed, sure of the integrity of your teachers—why, you took in the sacred Scriptures with your mother’s milk! There’s nothing like the written Word of God for showing you the way to salvation through faith in Christ Jesus. Every part of Scripture is God-breathed and useful one way or another—showing us truth, exposing our rebellion, correcting our mistakes, training us to live God’s way. Through the Word we are put together and shaped up for the tasks God has for us.”  2 Peter 1:21 For prophecy never had its origin in the human will, but prophets, though human, spoke from God as they were carried along by the Holy Spirit.

Knowing that God is the author of TRUTH, do you believe we are to live in fear, doubt and despair? Isaiah 43:1 (KJV) But now thus saith the Lord that created thee, O Jacob, and he that formed thee, O Israel, Fear not: for I have redeemed thee, I have called thee by thy name; thou art mine. Did you know  “fear not” is used at least 80 times in the Bible, most likely because He knows the enemy uses fear to decrease our hope and limit our victories.  2 Timothy 1:7 (NLT) For God has not given us a spirit of fear and timidity, but of power, love, and self-discipline.

So, my few cents worth of words, maybe some my own wisdom sprinkled in with His Word.  I would like to you begin living in the TRUTH. Be a true follower of Christ. Don’t do it because its a cool thing, or because this church or that church is fun or the pastor is cool, etc. Be a follower because we are called to be. We are called to  spread the Gospel to all the world. John 3:16-18 (The Message) “This is how much God loved the world: He gave his Son, his one and only Son. And this is why: so that no one need be destroyed; by believing in him, anyone can have a whole and lasting life. God didn’t go to all the trouble of sending his Son merely to point an accusing finger, telling the world how bad it was. He came to help, to put the world right again. Anyone who trusts in him is acquitted; anyone who refuses to trust him has long since been under the death sentence without knowing it. And why? Because of that person’s failure to believe in the one-of-a-kind Son of God when introduced to him.  We are to go out and make disciples: Matthew 28:18-20 (The Message) Jesus, undeterred, went right ahead and gave his charge: “God authorized and commanded me to commission you: Go out and train everyone you meet, far and near, in this way of life, marking them by baptism in the threefold name: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Then instruct them in the practice of all I have commanded you. I’ll be with you as you do this, day after day after day, right up to the end of the age.”   Following the author of TRUTH is full of love, peace, excitement, passion and more. Life to its fullest that will eventually end in death – but then life in Heaven with God!

When this is all said and done. When we are allowed to make our attempts to go back to life, not our normal life, because we will be living in a new normal of how we are doing things. We already are starting new habits that will continue for years to come. We will be living in a world that will not look the same to many. There will be businesses forever closed and gone. Perhaps your favorite restaurant or coffee shop will be closed. There will be millions of people unemployed and honestly, we just don’t know what to expect yet. But my question is simply this: will you and choose to be the light and follow the author of TRUTH or will you continue to wallow in the despair, blaming others and stay in the land of confusion? The choice is and always has been – yours.

From this day forward, help me to live every day for you and in a way that pleases you.
  I love you, Lord, and I thank you that I will spend all eternity with you.
  Amen.
